NEW ORLEANS - Charity Bruce has joined the law firm of Sternberg, Naccari & White, LLC, adding a dynamic litigator to the growing firm.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Charity has practiced with firms in New Orleans and Lafayette, and served as a senior trial attorney for the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office. While with the Orleans Parish District Attorney, Charity sat as first chair prosecutor for non-capital felony cases in Orleans Parish District Court.
Prior to her legal career, Charity was a track and field standout in Baton Rouge and was a four-year member of the Women’s Track and Field Team at the University of Southern California. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from USC in 2014.

Charity earned her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2017. While in law school, Charity served as an intern for the Honorable Jewel “Duke” Welch on the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal.
She is an active member of the legal and New Orleans communities. In her available time, Charity enjoys volunteering as a judge for the American Moot Court Association’s National Moot Court Tournament. She also participates as a pre-law student mentor for Dillard University students in the LEAD program. The Legal Education Advancing Diversity (LEAD) program is a comprehensive LSAT prep and law school success program for students attending historically black colleges in New Orleans, including Dillard. Charity also serves as a volunteer track and field coach at local schools in New Orleans.
